A Victorian sterling silver and ivory presentation trowel, London 1873 by Henry and Henry Lias

Engraved with a presentation inscription reading “Presented to T.F.C May esq on the occasion of his laying a memorial stone of the Wesleyan Chapel, Deptford Lower Road Rotherhithe”, engraved with a scene of the chapel, otherwise with a ribbon tied bunch of tulips. The openwork carved ivory handle formed as a tulip, with leaf form junction. Fully marked to the reverse.
