A CAUCASIAN SILVER DAGGER  Possibly Georgia, 19th century The double-edged steel blade of typical form, the forte with protruding conical elements, the handle and wooden sheath covered in silver with niello decoration consisting of cusped cartouches containing lush vegetal tendrils, in the back the Ottoman symbol of the crescent moon and star, approximately 36cm including the sheath.
