A late Victorian silver propelling pencil, Birmingham 1900, by William Vale & Sons Of square section, engraved with foliate motifs, the terminal with paste inset, length 8 cm/3.1 inches, together with a silver ball pen, Birmingham 1960, maker’s mark WM Ld, with engine-turned decoration, length 12 cm/4.7 inches.
