Two loaves better than one
Financial well-being with Simon Gompertz
Apply fresh thinking to your finances, and pick the brains of Simon Gompertz by digging deep into his many years’ experience as Personal Finance Correspondent at the BBC. Simon is offering a session on financial wellbeing in a Covid-challenged time.
BBC News Editor and presenter Simon Jack recently tweeted of Simon: I don’t think it’s possible to beat him for clarity and authority on everything personal finance. Mortgages, insurance, the minefield of pensions – there is nothing he doesn’t know.
Ask all the questions, and seek all the financial advice you have never dared ask before in a two hour session, either on a walk (with or without Ottie his dog), over coffee or either side of a desk. And having perfected his sour dough-making skills during lock down, Simon’s also offering a fresh loaf of bread to the highest bidder.
Simon himself says: I have always loved living in Chiswick, and for the family the House and Gardens have been our playground – what a privilege. Reporting is in my blood, and keeping all things on the straight and narrow on the financial side is what makes me sleep easy at night. So I am very happy to share my experience to support the cause and offer advice as best I am able. And yes, there’s also a fresh loaf for the highest bidder.
Donated by Simon Gompertz.
