An early 20^th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) unmarked silver box, Kandy circa 1930

Formed in the shaped of the island, with a hinged domed lid. The sides with chased foliate scrolls and vacant oval cartouches, the lid similarly embossed. The underside with flat chased decoration of an elephant below a palm trees.
