An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver footed bowl, Madras circa 1910
Raj period. of rounded circular form upon a pedestal foot. The body with embossed decoration of nine circular vignettes each with pairs of animals within; stags, lions, camels, dogs, and elephants, all interspersed with rosettes and shell forms, below a border of lunettes. The foot with a band of chased stylised acanthus leaves. Double skinned interior. Stamped to foot rim K75.
