Letter signed ('Odoardo Farnese'), in secretarial hand, addressed to the Count of San Secondo, recommending a certain "dottor don Antonio Maria Bianchi" and putting him forward for an ecclesiastical benefit falling within the recipient's patronage and held at the time by Dottor Girolamo Parenti, one page, integral blank, address leaf, embossed paper seal, light creasing, small loss to lower right corner, very clean overall, large 4to, Parma, 14 August 1693; with a letter signed by Rinaldo d'Este, Duke of Modena and Reggio, addressed to Count Federico Tacoli in Parma, thanking him for his Christmas greetings, one page, integral blank, folding marks, occasional browning and unevenness of toning, large 4to, Bologna, 31 December, 1734.
