TWO POTTERY INKWELLS Morocco, 19th century Comprising a polychrome pottery inkwell in the form of a mosque, seven circular apertures to the interior, painted in green, yellow and blue and decorated with arabesques and geometric motifs, 15.4cm long; and a blue-painted pottery inkwell in the form of a rosette, ten circular apertures, the exterior decorated stylised vegetal motifs, with a Christie's King Street inventory number on the bottom, 12.5cm long. The mosque-shaped inkwell looks extremely similar to one successfully sold at Christie's South Kensington, 20 April 2007, lot 279.
