AN ANTIQUE CHINESE TEXTILE, approx: 276cm. x 96cm. Very nicely drawn design stylused flowering vases, bold lotus flowerheads, angular vine and Buddhist motifs. This textile was woven in narrow stripes sawn together. Used as a wall hanging, possibly a part of bigger piece. All selvages secured, one with long fringes. Silk backing. In general very good usable condition. Attractive.
