An early 20th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver bowl, Lucknow circa 1910

Raj period. Of circular form with fold over rim. The body with embossed decoration figures in the Burmese manner, fighting with lions or sitting upon a dias. All between chased acanthus leaf borders. Chased underneath with a bird and a tree encircled within a mandala.
