A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver three-piece tea service, Cutch circa 1900

Raj period. Comprising a teapot, covered milk jug, and covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of globular form upon four pad feet with chased acanthus junctions, the teapot with a curved spout opposite chased C scroll handle, the hinged domed lid surmounted by a chased knop finial. The milk with a hinged lid, the sugar with a pull off lid. Each with a chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes, a vacant cartouche to each side. (3)

Teapot length – 18 cm / 7.1 inches

Weight – 898 grams / 28.87 ozt
