A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver three-piece tea service, Lucknow circa 1900
Raj period. Comprising a teapot, a milk jug and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of lobed baluster form upon a tapering cylindrical form. The teapot with a curved spout opposite a chased C scroll handle, the hinged homed lid surmounted by a finial of a caparisoned elephant. The bodies chased with jungle pattern of animals against palm trees, all between borders of curved fish. (3)
