Of rectangular form, the five joined strips of undyed cotton worked in a variety of stitches in predominantly magenta-red and dark teal silks, with blue and yellow highlights, outlines in brown, the large radiating central circle within a wide border of repeating red discs, the inner corners of large palmettes within simulated ikat surrounds, the inner border of repeating red and dark teal floral frieze, lined in black cotton, 200cm x 166cm.
