An early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver small bowl, probably Rangoon circa 1920
Of compressed rounded form, the body with embossed decoration of various figures, probably the characters from the Ramayana, such as Maricha as the golden deer, interspersed by Burmese rosewood trees. All reserved within shaped architraves with foliate scrolls below a chased border and above a band of stylised betel leaves.
