A mid to late 19th century Chinese export silver goblet, Canton circa 1870-80, marked Feng Zhao Ji, retailed by Lee Ching
Qing Dynasty. The rounded ‘tulip’ form bowl raised upon a pedestal stem formed as a Chinese dragon with cut sheet frills heightened with flat chasing upon a screw fitted domed circular base, embossed with stylised acanthus leaves. The bowl section with flat chased decoration of lozenges of flowers. Traces of gilding to the interior. Marked underneath 冯朝记 (FENG ZHAO JI, the workshop of Feng Zhao), and retailer’s mark LC.
