A LARGE POTTERY AMPHORA, with a long neak and looping handles, the body of elongated form, on a metal stand

Note: This amphora was owned by Vincent Korda (1897-1979), one of the dynasty of Kordas working in the film industry. Vincent was an art directer on films to include The Longest Day (1962) and the Third Man (1949). This amphora was in his villa in the South of France and was bought locally.
