A Victorian sterling silver and enamel vesta case, London 1892 by Sampson Mordan and Co
Hunting interest. Of rectangular form, the front with painted enamel fox hunting scene of three men on horseback around a pack of hounds. The reverse with crest of demi lion rampant holding a trefoil, double queued, above inscription 'Harold from Dora May 4th 1894'. Hinged lid opposite striker. Fully and part-marked.
