Mouawad | A diamond-set bird brooch

Designed as a stylized bird with a bi-coloured feathered crown, long plumage, a circular cabochon sapphire eye and wings accented by brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Mouawau, length 4.4cm

Mouawad is a family jewellers which began in 1890 with David Mouawad. His grandson, Robert Mouaward, moved the company to Geneva. The GIA's main campus in Carlsbad, California is named in his honour. The family legacy continues with the fifth generation currently acting as 'guardians' of the brand.
