A FRENCH EMPIRE STYLE PARCEL GILT MAHOGANY ARMCHAIR, with a moulded and gilt mounted top rail, centered with swans drinking from a fountain, extending outwards into scrolling branches flanked with cameos, over an ivory upholstered back and seat with repeating insect motifs, the arms with scrolling tops over anthemion mounts, terminating in soliate roundels, over swan form carved supports, further anthemion mounts to the apron, and turned feet with acanthus leaf caps
