The field with a bird in one corner and cartouche in opposite corner depicting a stylised sea-horse boat and the sea. Indigo border with two large sea-horse motifs in two corners. Touches of slight wear to the top pile in few small places, barely visible, otherwise the carpet has good pile and is in very good usable condition throughout. Fine wool quality and very unusual design. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Elegant and very good furnishing piece.
