Royal Navy named HMS Hood, Midshipman's dress sword, 1827 pattern, lion pommel, white shagreen grip with wire banding, brass guard with anchor motif, lock engraved B.C.W. Clements R.N., sword knot, George VI etched 79.2cm blade, black leather scabbard with brass mouthpiece, rings and drag, rexine carry case, Clements is listed as Midshipman Feb-April 1941, HMS Hood was the last batttle cruiser Admiral-class built for the Royal Navy, Hood was sunk in the battle of the Denmark straight whilst attempting to sink the Bismarck, famously portrayed in films, the Hood's gunnery magazine exploded sinking the ship in seconds
