DELLA ROBBIA POTTERY, BIRKENHEAD, LIVERPOOL: An Arts and Crafts earthenware jug, circa 1898, of tall elongated cylindrical form, decorated in the Iznik taste, carved and incised with bands of vertical leaves inset with flowers, and spaced by further bands of stylised foliate and heart shaped motifs, the whole picked out in hues of blue, yellow, turquoise and white against a buff ground, incised ship mark and initials HP for Harry Pearce, further indistinct painted marks for MW or AW
