We are delighted to offer a great range of works of art, including Chinese, Japanese and South East Asian. Featuring some outstanding Chinese works of art, many of which come from private collections. This includes a rare cloisonné kundika from the Ming dynasty period, alongside ceramics, furniture, bronzes, jades and lacquer, representing all periods of Chinese history.
The Japanese section includes highlights such as a silvered model of an eagle from the Meiji period, alongside a pair of magnificent screens dating to the Edo period. Furthermore, we have a wonderful section on Tibetan works of art and a section on Burmese works of art which is to be offered at auction on behalf of Prospect Burma to benefit educational scholarships.
