Each vase of rouleau form and painted to the body with a small bird perched atop a gnarled branch amidst a scattering of flowering peonies and chrysanthemums, all below a sloping shoulder decorated with vibrant flowerheads on a diaper pattern ground, the cylindrical neck moulded with a raised band around the middle and painted with a jardiniere bearing blossoms and sprigs of lingzhi mushrooms, topped with a band of classic scroll around the protruding rim, each base with a pair of underglaze-blue concentric circles,
