An antiphonal folio leaf, on vellum, large pen-flourished initial P in red with decoration in blue, six lines of Latin chant in a rounded Gothic liturgical hand and in brown and red ink, the music written in square and diamond-shaped brown neumes, the verso with an I initial with red pen-work decoration, along with other decorative initials and rubrics, text from Psalm 34 and ‘Pater, si non potest hic calix transire’ from Matthew 26: 42, some age yellowing, a little soiled and creased, 37.7cm x 51.5cm, circa 17th-18th century.
