A FINE BAKSHAISH RUG, NORTH-WEST PERSIA, approx: 192cm. x 143cm. Good type seldom found in rug size. Unusual and well drawn design with two large medallions and broad turtle-palmette camel border. Colours are well balanced. Apart of slight localized wear in one or two small places barely visible, this rug has full pile, soft wool quality. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general, this rug is in very good usable condition. Good furnishing piece, Attractive.
